'EVEolution' Photography Project

The EVEolution Photography Project is an undertaking by performing arts photographer Jon Green to produce a collection of images of women in contemporary Australian society.
The intended use of the images is for public exhibition and publication. I'm looking to photograph women and produce a collection of images for exhibition and publication. The concept is loosely based on all women originating from Eve … to show the variety and diversity that exists to this day, i.e. a portrait of women in a contemporary Australian society. The 'tie in' to Eve is that all images will show an apple somewhere in the frame. So far, I've photographed 150 women. Invitations are being, and will be, sent out over the life of the project for women to be involved in the project. EVEolution Photography Project will be presented in three parts: " 'The Movement of Eve' - A collection utilizing the professional skills and experience gained as an established performing arts, portrait and fine art photographer over the last 30 years. 'Portraits of Eve' - this section allows for the subject to be photographed as Eve - by using a creative process that allows for the subject to be photographed as self actualized or in a collaborative process with Jon Green to capture the portrait of the subject. The setting for the portrait can be in a studio or location as determined by the subject. 'The Abstract Nature of Eve' - utilizing past images of women photographed by Jon Green including location, texture, movement, form etc that can be incorporated as fine art images into the collection.
